What is the Magnapool mineral water system?

The MagnaPool™ system consists of a Hydroxinateur, a high-flow filter, Diamond Kleen™ glass filtration media, a high-flow pump, and our propriety blend of magnesium & potassium minerals.

How does the Magnapool filtration system work?

MagnaPool works to naturally sanitise your pool in two primary ways.

First, the patent pending MagnaPool filtration system naturally and efficiently removes microscopic organic matter in the water that bacteria feed on. It converts magnesium minerals into magnesium hydroxide (also known as milk of magnesia), which is so gentle that many people apply it directly to the skin to heal problem skin conditions. In the MagnaPool system, this amazing magnesium compound acts as a natural coagulant and flocculent that filters out even the tiniest of organic impurities from your water. Without anything to feed on, bacteria prefer not to reside in your swimming pool.

Second, the MagnaPool Hydroxinateur generates non-synthetic chlorine as a natural by-product of hydroxination, a process that mimics the production of non-synthetic chlorine that occurs within our own bodies to fight bacteria and disease. This non-synthetic chlorine acts as a sanitation system to protect the integrity of your water quality. Not only is a MagnaPool designed to naturally maintain its own balance, it is also designed to be a balanced component within the greater environmental context.

The oceans occupy nearly 71% of the earth's surface and can run hundreds of metres deep, are an integral part of our planet's cycle of water. All the water that ever is, exists now in some form as part of this cycle. Remember the giant ocean chemist who doesn't exist? Imagine if he were dumping synthetic chemicals in the oceans to keep it clean. Those chemicals would remain throughout the cycle of water and could very well end up in the tap that you drink from. Have you ever thought about your home and swimming pool as a part of this cycle? Sadly, most swimming pools generate large amounts of imbalanced wastewater that is environmentally toxic and disrupts the balance of the greater water cycle.

Traditional salt-water pools contribute to dangerously high salinity levels in the environment, while traditional chlorine pools dose chemically laden wastewater back into the water cycle. When used properly, as it was designed, a complete MagnaPool system wastes no water. Because a MagnaPool naturally maintains balance within its own water, it does not disrupt the balance of the greater water cycle. Unlike traditional pool wastewater, which contributes to environmental issues, your MagnaPool's backwash water can safely be used to water your lawn and garden (when diluted 5:1)**.

Magnapool Filtration Equipment

Hydroxinateur

The MagnaPool™ Hydroxinateur is a fully automated system with touch pad interface and a microprocessor controller.

The unique Neva Run Dry™ feature ensures pump protection so your pump never runs on empty. The Micropulse™ electrode system will help protect the cells plates and prolong the life of your MagnaPool™ Hydroxinateur. The automatic Mineral Level Monitor will detect when mineral levels are low by alerting you to make changes. Features also include: Variable Sanitizer Output, Super Sanitize Mode, Flocculent, Self Cleaning Mode and Winter Mode.

MagnaStream™ Pumps

With a heavy-duty weatherproof motor and built-in thermal overload protection, you can always depend on MagnaStream™ pumps. The pump components are moulded from tough, corrosion-proof engineering resins for extra durability. MagnaStream™ is the quiet achiever, with low noise so it can be installed close to living areas. The clear view strainer cover lets you see when its extra large strainer basket needs cleaning. The MagnaStream™ can be easily installed with its quick connection/disconnection adaptor and self-alignment allows for easy plumbing in either 40mm or 50mm.

MagnaForce™ Pumps

MagnaForce™ pumps are available in Medium Head or High Head models. MagnaForce™ pumps are precision built and designed to deliver high performance in applications where higher than normal head pressure conditions exist. Constructed of glass reinforced engineering grade polymer, these pumps are durable, lightweight and corrosion proof. Each pump is individually tested to assure quiet hassle-free performance.

Filtration Media

When compared to regular sand, Diamond Kleen™ filtration media can save up to 65% of water through more efficient backwashing. This is due to the larger spaces between the particles which allows for a more efficient water flow. This efficiency will also result in a reduction of electrical power required, lowering the amount of carbon emissions sent into our environment.

Diamond Kleen™ is made from 100% recycled fused silicon dioxide. Diamond Kleen™ is a type of filtration media that acts as a direct replacement for sand or zeolite. Health Benefits

Sand Filters are known to house many potentially harmful varieties of bacteria, one of the most common forms being legionella.
